Eggproduct, a.s. specializes in production of dried and liquid egg products as ingredients for the food industry. At the moment it is the only producer of its type in Slovakia.
In our factory in Prešov, Slovak Republic, with more than 30 employees, every day we process 600 thousand eggs into the whole sortiment of high-quality liquid products and dried egg products.
We are a reliable partner for a secure, functional and effective way of production of egg products. The cooperation with our customers is of high importance.
The processing of eggs in Eggproduct, a.s. has a long history. It has been 40 years since its beginnings. Ever since the very start the production is situated in Prešov, in the east part of the Republic.
In 1973, the egg processing factory was built in Prešov, first of its kind in Slovakia. It was able to process 80 thousand eggs per day.
Over the years the capacity and technological level of production has been elevated to current condition.
The Sanovo Engeneering Company has delivered the modern technological equipment during the complete reconstruction in 2010-2013. As of today, the capacity is 600 thousand eggs per day in our certified factory which fulfills the Food Safety System certification 22000:2010.
Along with high standards on hygiene and safety of processing and production of egg products the company offers the market a wide range of egg products. Eggproduct, a.s. cooperates with egg-producing agriculturers. This allows us to fully control the quality of delivered eggs, the quality of conditions where eggs are produced and to track the eggs in all our products. Eggproduct, a.s. offers safe egg products. By adherring to all production procedures we eliminate all sorts of infection that can be transmitted by our products. Our pasteurization procedures are valid and thus effective. Moreover, we provide our personnel with regualar education courses of safe food products.
The production structure consists of pasteurized liquid and dried egg products from the beginning.
Pasteurized liquid egg products are made in its original form, such as yolks, whites or whole egg melange but also with the addition of sugar, salt or other ingredients according to the customers’ requests. The high flexibility of products allows us to make products according to the preference of each customer. The package of the products can be in small packages of 1 kg or up to tanks.
Dried egg products such as dried egg whites, yolks and whole egg melange are the second part of egg production. They are dried in two spray machines, the so-called spreaders, one for the ‘white‘ and one for the ‘yellow’ powder. We make special types of products mostly from the ’yellow‘ powder.
The synergy of the interaction between Eggproduct, a.s. and its customers allows us to make products according to the preferences of the customer in order to obtain the highest level of effectivity and to reach the main goal as well.
Due to our distribution branches we are able to deliver the sortiment of dried and liquid egg products anywhere in Europe.
